After four days of meetings, the 2008 WCC General Assembly drew to a close on the 9th November, 2008. Ms. Usha Krishna, newly elected president of WCC, Mr. Shi Xiaoguang, senior consultant of CA&CA, Mr. Jiang Zhongping, executive chairman of CA&CA, and Mr. Shen Jian, vice mayor of Hangzhou municipal government attended the closing ceremony on the evening of the 9th Nov. Several awarding ceremonies for different handicrafts competitions such as Asia-Pacific Crafts Master Awarding Program, Young Craftsperson Competition and UNESCO Award of excellence for handicrafts in East Asia were also held at the same time. A WCC flag hand-over marked the climax of the ceremony.
